Welcome to the Refugee Union’s monthly update! As usual, this month we have been working tirelessly to better the living conditions of refugees in Hong Kong.
About Us
Founded in 2014 by refugees in Hong Kong, the Refugee Union has been dedicated to safeguarding refugee rights and improving their well-being and prospects.
Activities at a Glance
On 2 June, we welcomed Elena from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), who visited our centre and conducted interviews with our members for her meaningful research project on asylum seekers in Hong Kong.
On 15 June, we were delighted to host a group of youths from the Hong Kong International Christian Church, who represented MERCYWORLDWIDE. They visited our centre and arranged joyful activities for our kids.
On 20 June, we thanked Drink For Justice, 1880 Hong Kong, and Comedy HK for organising a fundraising event in support of RU. Together, we honoured refugees on World Refugee Day.
This month, we received a wide range of useful item donations. We would like to express our gratitude to those who have lent a helping hand. Your support means a lot to us. We ensure all items received are distributed to refugees.
