On 29 June 2026, our representatives submitted a letter to the Social Welfare Department Headquarters addressed to the Director of Social Welfare, respectfully requesting consideration of the following concerns:
1. Adjustment of the monthly allowance, which has not been increased since 2014, and consideration of the right to work
2. Higher education, vocational training, and future pathways for children born to non-refoulement claimants
3. Humanitarian consideration for claimant parents caring for children, including permission to remain
We hope these concerns will be given careful and compassionate consideration.
